5 Ways to Deal with Bullies

Have you ever had someone be mean to you at school? Or make fun of you for something? I have, and it really hurt my feelings. Sometimes it’s really hard to know what to say to someone who is being mean to you, but never be afraid to stand up for yourself. So what should you do?

1)    Ignore them and walk away

2)    Try to avoid being alone with them

3)    Don’t get mad – that’s exactly how they want you to react

4)    Practice the confidence skills you are learning at Girls on the Run
