This week is our practice 5K. Here at Girls on the Run, we want to do everything to ensure that your daughter will have a great day. So we’ll be supplying some fun things to keep her motivated, but we also need some help from you!
On the morning of the 5K, can you please make sure your daughter:
1) Has extra water
2) Has extra snack that is easy to digest like an apple or a banana
3) Is dressed appropriately for the weather – we recommend she bring shorts as well as pants and a jacket as the weather can change from moment to moment in Idaho in the Spring.
4) Has a healthy dinner when she gets home and takes it easy for a few days to help her body recover from all that running!
