Prepping for Our Practice 5K

Hey Girls!

This week is our practice 5K. Are you ready?

Here are some things to think about in preparation for the big day:

1)      Bring along lots of water

2)      Bring along an extra snack that is easy to digest like an apple or a banana

3)      Dress appropriately – since you never know what the weather will do in Idaho, I recommend bringing shorts and pants and a jacket. That way you can change into shorts if it’s hot or pants if it’s cold. Jackets are easy to put on and take off as you get hot or cold throughout your run

4)      Make sure to eat a healthy dinner when you get home and take it easy for the next few days to help your body recover from all that running!
