You Did It!

You just ran and/or walked a 5K! A real one! And you got a medal to prove it. You go girl! Just don’t try to do it again tomorrow, okay?

Ways to ensure you make a speedy recovery from your 5K:

1)      Eat! – You need to make sure you eat super healthy in the few days following your big event. Your body needs lots of nutrients right now.

2)      Drink lots of water to ensure your body is hydrated and you don’t get muscle cramps

3)      Take a few days off from running – let your little legs recover!

That’s it! Pretty simple, huh?

Remember to take it easy in practice this week so you can be ready to run your next race.
